Lizzy the Salamander has an almost explosive optimism
and is always willing to help others, even if the “other” in question doesn’t need her help. The zoo’s elder turtle likes Lizzy’s company and welcomes her eager help, but the other animals are not so forgiving.
The salamander loves to make plans and fulfill them in the name of her friends, but she never knows what she wants for herself. She is afraid that she will never be able to help herself.
