The giraffe named Pepper is agile and powerful
but quite dumb. He and the hippopotamus were the first animals in the zoo; their seniority granted them respect and they became a ruling duo, with the hippo as the brains and the giraffe as the brawn. However, they had a falling out and became arch nemesis.
Now the giraffe hates the hippo and is annoyingly apologetic and solicitous towards the other animals in an attempt at redeeming his brute past.
