Welcome to the newest edition of the Inspectors Log, Suspects. Today we’ll be previewing our next game mode, showing off our newest Legendary Skin and giving you all the latest news for Suspects: Mystery Mansion on Steam!

Team Wars Preview

Team Wars is on the way, Suspects, and we can’t wait for you to try it out.

This new mode pits players against each other in three different teams.

  • There are no tasks, body reporting, voting, light sabotages or bombs
  • All players will have the ability to kill
  • The team that eliminates all others will win!

This mode is inspired by custom game modes seen in our community, and we even picked the team names based on your feedback.

Team Wars also features a cool unique animation that plays when you enter the game, check it out below!

The game mode will be going live October 1… So save the date!

New Legendary Skin: Future Joe

Are you ready to harness the power of the future in your games? Our newest Legendary Skin: Future Joe is now live!

We think you’re going to love this one, Suspects, as it features one of our favorite animations yet — allowing you to send your opponents back in time in a mysterious portal! Well, most of them at least.

Halloween Mansion + New Map

As mentioned in our Roadmap, we’re hard at work making the Mansion as spooky as possible in time for Halloween. We’ve put in several surprises for you that will give the Mansion that special Halloween feeling… So expect spiders, pumpkins, tombstones and more! Truly terrifying.

We’re also well on track with our new map, which should be coming at the end of the year. Without giving anything away, this map is a massive step in terms of establishing the world of Suspects and will give you a good look at the lore of our game. Maybe even answering some of your most pressing questions, who knows?

Suspects on Steam

As many of you are aware, we’ve been testing out Suspects: Mystery Mansion on Steam, giving access to a few select content creators to help us make sure the game runs smoothly on the platform and making it suitable for a PC audience.

We’re happy to report that we’re making great progress! Feedback thus far has been overwhelmingly positive, we’ve just implemented mic selection, keyboard mapping and account recovery — meaning you’ll be able to sync your account from mobile to PC with Facebook.

We aren’t ready to give a release date just yet. But keep an eye out on our official channels for Steam Key giveaways as we move forward in the process of getting the game ready.

Community Highlight

Last but not least, it’s time to highlight one of the most active members of our community: Sanya Sloune!

Sanya Sloune is a Russian language YouTuber who has been making content for Suspects since the early days of our game! His talented viewers were the first to figure out the tricky puzzle in Melvin’s “Mysterious Transmissions” and have created some of our favorite fan art too.

If you’re interested in his content, make sure to visit his channel… and tell him we sent you!

That’s it for this week, Suspects. We can’t wait to see you in-game with your Future Joe outfits, and hope you have a great time as things get more and more spooky…
