How to report harmful or inappropriate content in-game

Post-Match Report System

If you see anything suspicious or upsetting during your matches (such as an inappropriate or offensive player name), you can report the offending player(s) to us directly via the Post-Match Report System.

When you finish a match, you’ll see the Battle Result table appear on your screen.

1. In the Report column, tap the icon beside the name of the player you wish to report. Doing so will open the ‘Report’ window. 

2. Select from the list of abuse categories the one that best fits the offending player’s infraction(s). 

The reportable categories are:

  • Offensive/Inappropriate name
  • Elo bombing/AFK
  • Gameplay hacking (fire-rate/damage…)
  • Progression hacking (unbalanced weapons and gear…)
  • Other

3. Include additional details in the textbox below your selected category, as this will ensure we have as much information as possible for our investigation and any actions we might take afterwards.

4. Tap ‘Send’ and the submitted report will become visible on our database for review. 

We will investigate every report that is sent to us. However, for security and confidentiality reasons, we will not be able to disclose any details or outcomes of the investigation process. 

Global & Region Chat

With the Global and Region chat features, you can interact with your fellow players, make friends and maybe even find new recruits for your Squad.  

However, we understand that some players might post comments that go against our community spirit and negatively affect the general player experience in the game. For this reason we’ve implemented a method for you to report these players’ comments to us. 

When you see an inappropriate or offensive comment in the chat, you can report it via the following steps:

1. On the chat screen, tap the name of the player you wish to report. This will display their ‘Player Profile’ window

2. Tap ‘Report’. This will display the ‘Report’ window as seen below.                                          

            

3. Select the Abuse Type.The Abuse Types you can report are:

  • Cheat or Hack
  • Child solicitation or violence
  • Harassment or stalking
  • Hate speech or derogatory religious references
  • Offensive language or content
  • Real life threat
  • Scrolling or excessive chat
  • Sexual, obscene or vulgar content
  • Spam or advertising

4. Tap ‘Send’ and the submitted report will become visible on our database for review.

As seen in the image above and to the right, you’ll also have the option to mute the offending player for up to one week as well, and this way any further comments they post won’t be visible to you for the selected duration of time.

We will investigate every report that is sent to us. However, for security and confidentiality reasons we will not be able to disclose any details or outcomes of the investigation process.

Clan Chat and Player Profiles

If you see a player posting content that goes against our community standards in the in-game chats, or alternatively see a player with an inappropriate player or Clan name while browsing Clans and Leaderboards, you can report them to us via the following steps.

1. Tap the name of the player you wish to report to display the ‘Player Profile’ window.

2. In the bottom-left corner, tap the Report button. This will display the Report Window where you can select the Abuse Type you wish to report.

These categories are:

  • Scrolling or Excessive Chat
  • Real Life Threat
  • Cheat or Hack
  • Child Solicitation or Violence
  • Sexual Obscenity or Vulgar Content
  • Hate Speech or Derogatory Religious References
  • Harassment or Stalking
  • Spam or Advertising
  • Offensive Language or Content

4. Once you’ve selected the abuse category, tap ‘Submit’ and your report will become visible on our database.

We will investigate every report that is sent to us. However, for security and confidentiality reasons we will not be able to disclose any details or outcomes of the investigation process.isplay the Clan report window as seen below:

You also have the option to mute the player on the left side of the window and selecting one of the durations will filter that player’s messages from your game.

Clans

When browsing the Clans in search of one you’d like to join, you may encounter one with an inappropriate or offensive name. When this happens, rather than reporting individual members within the problematic Clan, you can report the Clan itself directly to us.

1. Tap the icon to the right of the Clan’s emblem.

 

Doing so will display the Clan report window as seen below:

 2. Select the ‘abuse type’ you wish to report. The reportable types are:

  • Scrolling or Excessive Chat
  • Real Life Threat
  • Cheat or Hack
  • Child Solicitation or Violence
  • Sexual Obscenity or Vulgar Content
  • Hate Speech or Derogatory Religious References
  • Harassment or Stalking
  • Spam or Advertising
  • Offensive Language or Content

3. Once you’ve selected the abuse type, tap ‘Submit’ and your report will become visible on our database.

Tennis Clash

Club Chat

With the Club Chat feature, you can interact with your fellow players, discuss strategies for your matches, and even make friends! However, we understand that some players will post comments that go against our community spirit and negatively affect the general player experience in the game. If you see anyone not abiding by our rules in the Club Chat, you can report the offending comments directly to us from within the chat via these steps:

1. Tap the comment you wish to report. This will display a pop-up menu like the one in the image below.

2. Tap ‘Report’.

This will open the ‘Report Message’ pop-up.

3. elect the reason for your report. You can cycle through the list of reasons by tapping the < and > icons on the left and right of the ‘Reason’ field respectively.

The report reasons you can select are:

  • Harassment
  • Hate Speech
  • Sexual Content
  • Threat of Self-harm
  • Threat to a Child
  • Inappropriate Username

4. Next, include an explanation for your report. The explanation should contain any information you feel would assist us in our investigation, such as the context of the report comment.

5; Confirm that the report is correct and being made in good faith by checking the box at the bottom of the report window.

We must emphasise that sending false reports may lead to actions being taken against your own account.

6. Tap ‘Report’. Your report will immediately become visible on our database. We will investigate every report that is sent to us. However, for security and confidentiality reasons we will not be able to disclose any details or outcomes of the investigation process.

Muting Players in Club Chat

The option to mute a specific player’s comments in the Club Chat has been made available. This means that any comments posted by this player will not be visible to you. You can mute players via the following steps:

1. On your Club Chat screen, tap any comment posted by the player you wish to mute.

This will display a pop-up menu like the one in the image below.

2. Tap ‘Mute’.

A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm whether you’d like to mute all communications with the selected player.

3. Tap ‘Yes’.

The player is now muted, and their messages will no longer be visible to you going forward!

Offensive Usernames, Club Names or Clu Descriptions

Sometimes when browsing Clubs to join or looking at leaderboards, you may come across an inappropriate username, club name or club description. If you wish to report one of these, you can do so by contacting Tennis Clash Player Support.

This can be done by opening the Settings menu, tapping on “Customer Support” and opening a ticket to our Support team with screenshots of the message(s) you would like to report.

But it’s important to keep in mind: Making false reports just to get someone punished can lead to a strict punishment to the reporter.

 

Zooba

Clan Chat

With the Club Chat feature, you can interact with your fellow players, discuss strategies for your matches, and even make friends! However, we understand that some players will post comments that go against our community spirit and negatively affect the general player experience in the game.

If you see anyone posting inappropriate or offensive comments in the Clan Chat, you can now report the comments directly to us from within the chat via the following steps:

1. Tap the comment you wish to report. The icon should appear like in the image below.

2. Tap the icon to display the pop-up menu. You should now see the options to either view the player’s profile or report them.

3. Tap ‘Report Player.

This will display the ‘Report Player’ pop-up window.

4. Select the abuse type from the following four categories:

  • Real-life Threat
  • Hate Speech
  • Offensive Language
  • Cheat or Hack

5. Include as much information as possible on what the player was saying in the textbox. This will give us as much information as possible to work with during our investigation.

6. Tap ‘Submit’. Your report has now been submitted!

Inappropriate or Offensive Usernames on Leaderboards

Sometimes when browsing Clans to join or looking at leaderboards, you may come across an inappropriate player or clan name. If you see a player with an inappropriate name, you can report them to us via the following steps:

1. Tap the name of the player you wish to report.

This will open the player’s profile.

2. Tap ‘Report Player’ beneath the player’s name and Trophy count.

3. Select the abuse type from the following four categories:

  • Real-life Threat
  • Hate Speech
  • Offensive Language
  • Cheat or Hack

 

4. Include as many details as you can on why you’re reporting this player, as this will give us as much information as possible to work with during our investigation.

5. Tap ‘Submit’.

Your report has now been submitted!

Suspects

Post-Match Report System

Suspects allows players to communicate with one another during Meetings via two methods: message chat and voice chat. If another player is posting or saying inappropriate things during the Meeting times, you can report them to us on the Results screen at the end of your match via the steps below: 

1. Tap the icon in the upper left corner of the Results table.

icons should now appear below the names of all participants of the match.

2. Tap the offending player’s icon.

This will open the ‘Report Player’ window, as seen below.

2. Select the categories of the violation(s) in-game (Only one category can be selected).

3. Add the description of the offence(s) in the textbox below the categories.

4. Tap ‘Report’.

This will flag the player’s account on our database for investigation, and we’ll take over from there!

Mute Features 

Alternatively, you may feel that a player hasn’t broken any rules, and you just find yourself not wanting to listen to them or talk to them for other reasons. In scenarios like this, you can instead just mute yourself and/or the other player(s) during Meeting times. 

The options to mute yourself and/or deafen all other players are available from the very beginning of a game.

A. The device microphone can be muted by tapping the microphone icon. Once you tap this, no one in the game will be able to hear you. You can confirm that you’re muted by the red colour of the microphone icon and the line going through it.

B. Other players can be muted by tapping the speaker icon (this blanket mutes all other players and not individuals)

The option to mute individual players will become available during the voting process in a game. Please note that the ability to toggle these options will only be available during this voting period.

1. Tap the  icon beneath the player you want to mute. This will display a pop-window where the app requests a reason for muting the player in question.

2. Select a reason and then tap ‘Silence’. Now no matter what the player says, you won’t be able to hear them. Please note however that their messages will still be visible in the text chat, so they won’t be completely blocked from attempting to communicate with you.

 

Block Craft

Report Building

When browsing Buildings for your Village, you may come across a Building with an inappropriate name. If this happens, you can report the Building to us via the following steps:

1. On the main information page of the Building you want to report, tap the  icon in the bottom left corner:

This will display the ‘About Building’ pop-up window.

2. Tap ‘Report’.

This will in turn display the ‘Report Building’ window as seen below.

3. Tap the drop-down menu and select the ‘Abuse Type’. The abuse types that can be selected are:

  • Sexual Content
  • Offensive Content
  • Personally Identifiable Information
  • Reportable Name

4. In the textbox below the abuse type dropdown menu, please include as many details as possible, as this will ensure we have as much information as possible for our investigation and any actions we might take afterwards.

5. Once you’ve entered all of the necessary information, tap ‘Report’.

Your report has now been submitted!

Report Village

When exploring Villages you can visit, you may come across a Village with an inappropriate name. If this happens, you can report the Village to us via the following steps:

1. Tap ‘Visit’.This will display the ‘Visit Village’ pop-up window.

2. Next, instead of tapping ‘Go!’, tap the icon in the top right corner of the window.

This will display the ‘About Village’ pop-up window as seen below:

3. Tap ‘Report’.

This will in turn display the ‘Report Village’ window.

4. Tap the drop-down menu and select the ‘Abuse Type’. The abuse types that can be selected are:

  • Sexual Content
  • Offensive Content
  • Personally Identifiable Information
  • Reportable Name

 

5. In the textbox below the abuse type dropdown menu, please include as many details as possible, as this will ensure we have as much information as possible for our investigation and any actions we might take afterwards.

When browsing the images shared by members of the community in search of inspiration, you may come across an inappropriate image or an artist with an inappropriate name. If this happens, you can report the image directly to us via the following steps:

1. Tap theicon at the bottom of the image.

This will display a list of selectable options, two of which allow you to report the image to us. These are:

  • Report Spam
  • Report Abusive Content

2. Tap one of the two report options that best fit your report reason.

Once you’ve done so, the image will be sent to us for investigation! We will investigate every report that is sent to us, but for security and confidentiality reasons we will not be able to disclose any details or outcomes of the investigation process. 

Report Comments

Users of Colorfy can post comments on the images of other users as well as their own. However, we understand that not all of the comments will be posted in good faith, and that some users will post spam. Such comments can be reported to us via the following steps:

1. Swipe left on the comment you’d like to report.

This will display the ‘Mark as spam’ button as seen below.

2. Tap ‘Mark as spam’.

We will investigate every report that is sent to us, but for security and confidentiality reasons we will not be able to disclose any details or outcomes of the investigation process.

3. Tap ‘Report inappropriate content’.
